SMART ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM “VARTA PULSE” UNVEILED TO UK MARKET
WEST YORKSHIRE, UK: VARTA Storage has entered the UK market with a smart energy storage system - the “VARTA pulse” as part of an exclusivity agreement with Yorkshire based Waxman Energy Ltd.
Already a key supplier in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy and a successful launch in Australia earlier in the year, VARTA Storage hopes to take advantage of the rapidly developing battery storage market.
“The energy storage market has more than doubled in the past three years with the UK set to be the next growth market” says Gordon Clements - General Manager Power and Energy “Over 130 years of battery expertise has gone into product development for this system and we’re looking forward to being able to offer such an advanced system onto the UK market”.
The compact energy storage system was unveiled to a UK audience of key players in the renewable energy market including VARTA Storage approved installers and those due to be trained the following day.
Setting it apart from its competitors, the VARTA pulse is designed to be plug and play and offers an all in one battery storage solution that can be installed in less than 30 minutes - providing the relevant services are available. To show how easy the VARTA pulse is to install, Bernd Pfefferer - Head of Technical Service performed a live install in front of guests followed by a question and answer panel.
Not only does the high flexibility and connectivity behind the VARTA pulse ensure a seamless integration with smart home systems (which customers can monitor via smartphones and other devices) but the “open system” allows for upgrades and future compatibility with storage system aggregators.
Managing Director of Waxman Energy, Sam Waxman said “We are delighted to partner with such a strong and reliable company that allows us to now offer an all-in-one battery storage solution to our customers. We see a huge potential for this product and look forward to working with VARTA Storage to shape the future of battery storage in the UK and Ireland.”
Part of the Waxman Group, Waxman Energy Ltd. is committed to offering only the highest quality energy solutions for private and commercial use. With the addition of the fully inclusive system from VARTA Storage, Waxman can now expand on their domestic product range to offer all-in-one solutions to their customers in the UK.
The VARTA pulse is available in two capacity sizes; 3.3 kWh and 6.5 kWh and measures just 60 x 69 x 18.6 centimetres, making the unit perfectly suited to domestic environments where space is limited.
Pricing for installers is available by contacting Waxman Energy directly with orders now being taken. Delivery to customers is expected in the first week of July.
Waxman Energy Holds UK’s First Installer Training by VARTA Storage
Coinciding with the launch, VARTA Storage and Waxman Energy have announced a series of free installer training days which covers the complete installation of the VARTA pulse. Successful completion of the training will allow qualified electricians to competently install the home energy system, whilst gaining access to the VARTA Installer Network.
The next training session will be held on 11th July at the Waxman Energy headquarters in Elland, West Yorkshire with further dates to be added in both the North and South of the UK.
