How it works

The inexhaustible source of energy provided by the Sun is likely to make an even greater contribution to ensuring a sustainable supply of power for human needs.

Sunlight is converted directly into direct current by solar modules. The direct current generated by the solar modules is transformed directly by the power inverter to 230 V alternating current or 400 V three-phase current, and can feed electrical consumers, for example those of a house. The power inverter works in the grid connected mode, that is if the voltage and frequency of the generated current correspond to that of the public grid. This means that all of the current generated from sunlight can be fed into the public grid.

What do I need to create electricity from the Sun?

  • Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Modules - Solar modules form the heart of the photovoltaic system. With massive experience in the market all our partners provide high quality modules that produce high yields over many years.
  • Mounting System - To ensure that solar modules continue to provide trouble free electricity for many years it is important that the modules are mounted correctly. Our mounting systems are ideal for all manner of installations including on-roof, in-roof and flat roof applications. They are easily installed and robust enough to stand strong winds and snowfall.
  • Inverters - Inverters convert the DC current produced by the PV solar modules into AC current which is then fed into the electricity supply for use in the home; any surplus electricity is then fed back into the national grid.
